What would happen if an artist took a teddy bear - whether it be new, antique, vintage, or donated - and reimagined it into something entirely new?

Each Threadbear goes through a creative transformation process which includes dyeing, distressing, sewing, re-stuffing and airbrushing, as well as the addition of a handpainted face and individually-crafted accessories.

Breathing new life into something old and transforming everyday objects into something special are some of the most important aspects of my work, and I am so excited to share this new avenue of creation with you!

The Threadbear Adoption Process

Each Threadbear is $350 USD and does not include taxes or shipping, which will be added to the total after purchase.

Purchase ONE of them. If you try and add more than one, your order will not go through!
You will get a confirmation email after finalizing your purchase.
Your Adopted Threadbear will be shipped out to you within just a few days.

Please understand that these pieces are sold blind - you won't know who you've adopted until they show up at your doorstep!

Details:

Each Threadbear is roughly 11" tall from top of head to bottom of feet, and is about 7" high when sitting down (excluding hat).

They all come with a painted party hat with a handmade pompom. The hats are magnetized to sit on the head without falling off.

They are weighted so that they can sit up easily, and can also sit comfortably near the edge of a shelf without falling off.

Each one features a fabric neck-ruffle which has been distressed to give it an aged look. The bodies also feature an area of visible hand-stitching, as well as lots of "wear and tear" on the hands and feet. The fur is soft but has been heavily stained and distressed.
